Abstract
Aiming at the radiation resistance problem of polyimide used for electric valve sealing in the nuclear power industry, the effects of irradiation dose on the properties of polyimide were analyzed and evaluated by comparing the change of structure characteristics, mechanical properties and thermal properties before and after irradiation. The results show that after γ-ray irradiation, the tensile strength of the polyimide basically remained unchanged, the elongation at break significantly decreased, the compression strength changed slightly, The FTIR spectrum peak position and strength had no obvious change, and the glass transition temperature decreased a little.
